Job Description/Overview:
D.R. Horton is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their Information Technology Department. The role involves clerical assistance, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and supporting executive staff. This position offers a chance to work with a leading homebuilder and offers a great work environment within a Fortune 500 company.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general clerical duties such as preparing reports and email correspondence.
Coordinate and schedule meetings and travel arrangements for up to 200 corporate IT department members.
Assist in the CIO’s schedule and prioritize functions and appointments.
Manage reception and telephone duties for executive staff.
Arrange catering for meetings and events.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
3-5 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Prior experience supporting executive leadership.
Skills:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with attention to detail.
Capability to work independently.
