Job Description
As an AI Content Writer with Outlier, you will:
- Review and Rank AI-Generated Content: Assess responses produced by AI models, ranking them for accuracy, relevance, and quality.
- Create and Edit Prompts: Write, rewrite, and fact-check prompts and responses to enhance model output.
- Evaluate Content Quality: Examine the factuality, style, and clarity of AI-generated text, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
This is a reading- and writing-intensive role with flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever suits you best.
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Writing Experience: Experience as a writer or editor, or similar role involving content creation.
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in a writing-related field (preferred).
- English Proficiency: Exceptional English spelling, grammar, logic, and reasoning skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to clearly articulate feedback on content quality.
Compensation

- Rates:
- US: $11 – $35 per hour
- UK: Up to £11 – £27 per hour
- Canada: Up to $20 – $48 CAD per hour
- Australia: Up to $22 – $53 AUD per hour
- New Zealand: Up to $25 – $58 NZD per hour
- Rates:
- Rates vary based on location, expertise, and project needs. Higher rates may be available for advanced degrees (e.g., PhDs). Certain non-core tasks, such as onboarding or overtime, may be compensated at a lower rate.
