Position: Human Resources Assistant

Job Description/Overview:
This position supports human resource programs, policies, and benefits while providing assistance to plant operations. Responsibilities include conducting orientation, supporting employee recognition programs, answering HR-related questions, and coordinating community events.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct New Hire Orientation and Onboarding.
Coordinate stay and exit interviews for hourly employees.
Address employee HR questions on policies, payroll, and benefits.
Assist in employee recognition programs and community events.
Participate in recruitment activities (career fairs, interview scheduling).
Manage special events and internal communication (ESOP meetings, holiday events).
Maintain accurate employee records and data entry.
Ensure compliance in administrative HR functions (audits, I-9s).
Qualifications:
Certificate or Associate’s degree in Business Administration (preferred).
Two years of experience in a business environment with administrative responsibilities.
Experience:
At least two years in an administrative role, ideally within a business setting.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Google Docs and SmartSheets is a plus.
Professional with strong integrity regarding confidential information.
Excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $36,000 – $48,000 per year.
