Job Description/Overview:
Alghanim Industries is seeking a professional Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver to join their team. The primary responsibilities will include delivering and picking up merchandise, assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles, and ensuring the safe and proper operation of trucks. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of driving experience and be committed to following strict road safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure trucks and vehicles are clean and well-maintained.
Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
Use company mobile phones only for business purposes.
Maintain and fuel vehicles according to the schedule.
Oversee the correct loading and unloading of merchandise.
Assist Installers with delivery and assembly tasks.
Drive safely to ensure the safety of products and staff.
Ensure knowledge of destinations and routes, confirming with the Supervisor/Manager if unfamiliar with the area.
Adhere strictly to road safety procedures and local driving laws.
Take care not to damage the products during transportation.
Candidate Requirements:.
Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, not mandatory).
