Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team, with a primary focus on Live-In care. The Caregiver will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their well-being and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Provide companionship and emotional support
Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
Perform light housekeeping tasks
Escort clients to appointments and social outings
Monitor and report changes in client’s health status
Follow care plans and maintain documentation of care provided
Experience:
Experience in hospice care or nursing home settings is preferred
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and first aid procedures
Ability to manage behaviors effectively
Understanding of resident rights and social work principles
Capability to lift and assist individuals with mobility challenges
Valid driver’s license for transportation needs
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
Skills:
Compassionate and patient
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
