Job Description/Overview
As a Sales Forecasting Analyst at Enovos, you will be an essential contributor to Luxembourg’s energy transition. This role involves configuring energy data models, forecasting renewable energy, validating data quality, and managing financial forecasts to optimize sales costs and reduce risk.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the energy transition process by managing energy data models for sales activities.
Monitor and ensure data quality, including customer portfolio and weather data.
Develop forecasting methods for renewable energy producers and consumers.
Lead energy data handling projects.
Support IT system and interface development.
Conduct financial analyses for forecasts to minimize sales costs and identify risk mitigation opportunities.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (Data Management, Data Analytics, or Environmental positions preferred).
Knowledge of energy management systems and markets is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in process management and data analysis.
Experience
Experienced (2-5 years) or proven experience (5 years or more) in data management or analytics, ideally within the energy sector.
Skills
Proficient in English and German; Luxembourgish is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Team-oriented, proactive, and flexible, with a high level of engagement and initiative.
