Job Description/Overview:
Athar Iqbal is seeking a dedicated Family Caregiver to provide personal care and support for an elderly client. This is a full-time, permanent position in Mississauga, ON, requiring on-site work with flexible scheduling including day, evening, on-call, early morning, and morning shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer bedside and personal care.
Administer medications.
Assist with bathing and personal hygiene.
Support regular exercise, such as walking.
Assist with feeding and meal preparation.
Launder clothing and household linens.
Provide companionship and personal care.
Shop for food and household supplies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year of caregiving experience.
Skills:
Punctuality, client focus, dependability, strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
Additional Information:
Physically demanding tasks; must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.
