Job Description/Overview:
Apollo Home Healthcare is looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team in Liverpool, supporting children and young people with long-term, life-limiting conditions. This role involves delivering personalized and specialist care tailored to individual complex needs. Ideal candidates are passionate about making a positive impact on young lives, engaging in activities they love, and providing vital person-centred care.
Our team seeks female staff, per the request of the parents of our service users, to build a comforting and supportive environment. Prior experience in complex care is a plus but not required, as full clinical training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver medication administration and personal care
Assist with moving and handling
Engage in activities to build rapport and support service users’ emotional well-being
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 months of prior care experience
Skills in medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling
Experience:
3 months in a caregiving role
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
Driver Required: No
