Job Description:
Outlier is looking for skilled writers fluent in English to help train and improve AI models by providing valuable feedback. As a Remote AI Writing Evaluator, you’ll engage in reading and writing-intensive tasks, contributing to AI development by ranking AI-generated responses, rewriting prompts, fact-checking, and assessing content relevance and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Review and rank AI-generated responses based on clarity, coherence, and quality.
- Write, rewrite, and refine prompts and responses, conducting research and verifying factual information.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of AI-generated text.
Requirements:
- Experience as a professional writer or editor.
- Associate degree or higher in a writing-related discipline preferred.
- Excellent English spelling, grammar, and writing style.
- Strong attention to detail with effective logic and reasoning skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate the strengths and weaknesses of text.
Payment:
- United States: $25 per hour for core project work.
Note: Pay rates may vary based on expertise, location, and project needs. Non-core work such as initial onboarding or project overtime may have lower rates. Some projects may also offer additional incentive payments.
Additional Information:
- Freelance contract, 1099 position on the Outlier.ai platform.
- Must be authorized to work in your country of residence. International students may be eligible if on a visa (consult your immigration advisor for specific questions).
