Job Description/Overview
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about providing personalized care and support. This role involves delivering essential, person-centered care to adult service users in the Runcorn area. You will support them in daily activities, including personal care, medication administration, and engagement in hobbies and community activities. Additionally, you’ll help maintain a calm, supportive environment, especially during bedtime routines.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and moving and handling support.
Administer medication as needed.
Support daily routines, hobbies, and community activities.
Monitor and attend to care needs during day and night shifts.
Assist with bedtime routines and offer companionship.
Qualifications
3 months of prior care experience.
Skills in personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
Comfortable working in pet-friendly homes.
Experience
Minimum 3 months in a care role.
Skills
Excellent communication skills
Compassionate and attentive
Ability to work independently
