Position: Operations Manager

Job Description/Overview:
Apollo Home Healthcare seeks a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager for its St Helens office to oversee complex clinical homecare services. This role demands a healthcare professional who is a strong leader, skilled in managing people, and passionate about delivering high-quality care. The Operations Manager will manage a team of Office Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists, ensuring safe and personalized care packages for service users. The successful candidate will also transition to the role of Registered Manager following a successful probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure safe service delivery according to CQC regulations and company policies
Manage incidents, complaints, and escalate issues as necessary
Recruit and retain care staff for complex care needs
Establish robust operational procedures for high-quality service delivery
Meet budget targets and manage office expenses
Supervise the introduction of new complex care packages
Participate in meetings and forums to evaluate service provision
Qualifications:
Strong management experience (ideally in healthcare, but other sectors considered)
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel
Experience:
Proven leadership experience in overseeing and delivering healthcare services
Ability to effectively manage a team and operations
Annual Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 (plus a substantial quarterly bonus)
Work Patterns: Full Time, rotational schedule between 8 am – 6 pm based on business needs
