Job Description/Overview
Atelier de Construction Métallique KOCH is seeking a skilled Business Manager to oversee customer portfolios and manage locksmithing projects from quotation through final invoice. Working closely with various departments, the Business Manager will lead new project development in alignment with company strategy, handle project quotations, design project plans, and oversee worksite management. This role includes active project budget monitoring, team coordination, and regular reporting to management on project progress.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect for new clients and respond to calls for tenders related to locksmithing and metalwork
Collaborate with the calculation department to manage project quotations, identify technical solutions, and negotiate pricing
Oversee project design and production, including coordination meetings, technical studies, measurements, and production planning
Manage worksite teams, conduct pre-acceptance and final acceptance inspections, and handle any complaints
Track project budgets and ensure accurate invoicing in collaboration with administrative and accounting departments
Participate in meetings to review project progress and contribute to department recruitment efforts
Qualifications
Master’s degree in locksmithing/metalwork and 10+ years of experience, or higher education in commerce with 5+ years of relevant sales experience
Expertise in AutoCAD, INVENTOR 3D, SOLIDWORKS, and frame techniques (JANSEN and FORSTER)
Proficiency in HEROAL, WICONA, SAPA, REYNAERS, and SCHUCO aluminium systems
Knowledge of LOGIKAL, SCHUCAL, and REYNAPRO software
Strong skills in aluminium locksmithing, sheet metal work, and knowledge of products like doors, windows, shutters, and blinds
Excellent command of sales techniques, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe software
Familiarity with social legislation and commercial law
Experience
Minimum of 5-10 years in a similar role with team management experience

Strong interpersonal skills
Fluency in French (German, Luxembourgish, and English are a plus)
