Position: Welder

Job Description/Overview:
Flowserve, a leader in flow control solutions, is seeking a Welder for its Essen location. In this role, you’ll be responsible for manual and tack welding of workpieces, ensuring quality and precision on specialized materials for Kämmer valve production.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify completeness and material specifications of workpieces.
Select and operate welding equipment, adhering to specifications.
Perform thermal treatments, tack weld smoothing, and equipment cleaning.
Utilize automatic welding machines for specialized materials (e.g., Hasteloy, Nickel).
Ensure X-ray safe weld seams and sterilize guides/seat edges.
Qualifications:
3-year vocational training in welding or as a construction mechanic.
1-3 years of welding experience; additional certifications in TIG welding preferred.
Fluency in German.
Strong communication, quality attention, teamwork, and stress-management skills.
Experience: 1-3 years in relevant welding roles
Skills: TIG welding, quality control, attention to detail, teamwork
