Job Description/Overview
BeWunder is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction projects, focusing on audio, video, and lighting technology for immersive experiences. The role includes managing detailed project timelines, budgets, team coordination, and regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality, innovative projects. You will play a key role in bringing complex projects to life, from initial planning to final execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Oversee end-to-end management of construction projects.
Time & Budget Planning: Use tools like Microsoft Project and PlanRadar to create and monitor project schedules and budgets.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to German building, safety, and environmental regulations.
Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead teams of workers and subcontractors.
Material & Equipment Planning: Manage resource allocation for technical components, including inventory control.
Quality Assurance: Meet quality standards and contractual obligations, particularly for complex installations.
Scheduling & Tracking: Establish precise timelines for technical installation phases.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks, resolve issues, and manage project risks effectively.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Communication: Actively participate in meetings and communicate project updates to clients, property owners, and team members.
Qualifications
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience: Extensive experience in construction management, ideally involving audio, video, and lighting technology.
Regulatory Knowledge: Proficient in German building and safety regulations.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and PlanRadar.
Leadership & Organization: Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Languages: Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken) for effective communication.
