Job Description/Overview
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide evaluations, counseling, case management, and crisis intervention for incarcerated individuals at Sacramento County Jail facilities. Responsibilities include medication monitoring under the direction of a psychiatrist, implementing W & I 5150, and maintaining documentation, triage, and referrals.

Qualifications
License: California LCSW without restrictions.
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
Experience: Clinical work in a healthcare or social services setting.
Skills: Conflict management, psychosocial assessment, suicide evaluations, and familiarity with social work laws (e.g., Tarasoff, patient confidentiality).
Experience
Experience in jail or correctional settings is highly preferred.
Knowledge of criminal justice, forensic mental health, and state hospital systems is advantageous.
Skills
Proficiency with MS Office and other basic computer skills.
Ability to work in a confined, high-stress environment with incarcerated individuals.

Salary Range: $50.28 – $66.36 per hour
Shift Hours: Variable 10- and 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
