Visy Logistics is looking for an HR Collections Driver to join the team at the Coolaroo Depot in Melbourne. This full-time role involves handling local collections in a rear loader truck, servicing Melbourne’s North/East Metro areas. Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy rigid (HR) combinations for local collections.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance.
Complete electronic reporting and other necessary documentation.
Adhere to company policies, and state/national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
Maintain truck presentation and handle routine maintenance.
Qualifications
Valid HR license with a minimum of 2 years of recent Australian driving experience.
Familiarity with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable, or container trailers.
Experience
Proven experience in driving and handling heavy rigid vehicles.
Comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
Skills
Strong communication and time management skills.
Team-oriented with a focus on safety.
