Job Description/Overview
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our highly automated box-making facility in an essential dispatch role. Located in Hemmant, this facility utilizes robotic forklifts and advanced technology across production and warehousing. This full-time day shift position offers a new and clean working environment, complete with new staff lunchrooms and designated break areas.
Key Responsibilities
Operate counterbalance forklifts, including attachment use.
Conduct machine operating and relief duties.
Load and unload trucks using attachments.
Perform RF scanning and maintain general warehousing and housekeeping.
Support in controlling Despatch AGVs (automated guided vehicles).
Adhere to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHS&E) standards.
Assist in meeting planned production delivery schedules.
Qualifications
Valid forklift license.
Prior experience in line manufacturing.
Proficiency with dispatch systems and comfortable using technology.
Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment and working within a team setting.
Skills
Strong communication skills and ability to operate technology within a dispatch environment.
Additional Information
Overtime available.
