Job Description/Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Health Care Assistant in the Accident & Emergency Department. This role is ideal for individuals with prior healthcare experience or a strong passion for patient care, providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills in an acute hospital setting. You will work closely with Nursing and Healthcare Professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Emergency Department team in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Work collaboratively with nursing staff and adapt to a shift-based schedule.
Support a variety of patient needs in an acute care setting.
Qualifications
A good standard of secondary education.
Care Certificate or willingness to complete within six months of joining.
Experience
Essential: Experience working as part of a team.
Desirable: Experience in acute or critical care settings.
Skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Basic IT skills.

Additional Information
Salary: £23,615 Per Annum
Full-time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week on a shift rota.
