Job Description/Overview:
Join Meliá Hotels International as a Valet Housekeeper and become part of a team dedicated to delivering excellent service and maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest spaces. You will be responsible for supporting the housekeeping team by providing essential services, such as handling laundry carts, maintaining common areas, and ensuring room cleanliness to enhance guests’ experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and count laundry carts from the laundry service
Handle soiled laundry carts
Stock housekeeping carts with supplies and linens
Vacuum carpets in hallways and clean common areas, including fitness rooms, saunas, elevators, and lobbies
Assist housekeeping staff with room cleaning, bathroom maintenance, and hallway dusting
Ensure adherence to hotel evacuation plans and safety protocols
Comply with Health and Safety Procedures and use protective equipment as needed
Qualifications:
Proficiency in French; English and Spanish are advantageous
Experience:
Relevant experience in housekeeping or customer service is preferred
Skills:
Strong customer service orientation
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Teamwork and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
