Job Description/Overview:
Join Melia’s Front Office team and create unique and welcoming experiences for guests. As a Receptionist, you will greet guests warmly, assist with check-in and check-out, provide hotel and room information, and promote services and amenities. Key Responsibilities:
Manage check-in and check-out of guests professionally and promptly
Process payments and register guests, issuing room keys and providing information
Answer calls courteously and address guest complaints appropriately
Promote room upgrades to maximize revenue
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, completing cashier reports and preparing deposits
Communicate outstanding requests or issues to management
Qualifications:
Apprenticeship or training in hospitality preferred
Proficiency in English and French/German; additional languages are a plus
Experience:
Prior experience in a Front Office role is an advantage
Skills:
Positive attitude, outgoing personality, and great communication skills
Ability to understand guests’ needs and work well in a team
Detail-oriented and well-organized with multitasking capabilities
