Job Description/Overview:
The Housekeeper (Guest Environment Expert) plays a vital role in creating a memorable and unique experience for guests by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. Responsibilities include delivering guest requests, stocking carts, cleaning rooms, and public spaces. The position emphasizes safety, adherence to company policies, and maintaining a professional appearance and communication. This is a hands-on role involving physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain hotel rooms and public areas in a clean and orderly manner
Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally
Stock housekeeping carts and supplies as needed
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds as required
Perform additional duties as needed to support a positive guest experience
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods and to perform physical tasks
Experience:
Previous housekeeping or related experience is a plus but not required
