Job Description/Overview:
Midwest Residential is looking for compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide personal assistance to residents in home care settings. The position offers flexible schedules and opportunities to develop meaningful relationships with both clients and co-workers. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding residents.
Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
Turn or reposition bedridden patients.
Report any changes in patient conditions to caregivers, nurses, or doctors.
Assist with toileting and answer patient call lights.
Clean and sanitize patient areas and change bed sheets.
Provide light housekeeping for residents’ rooms and communal areas.
Prepare meals for residents and assist with meal serving.
Operate homecare equipment (e.g., CPAP machine, insulin administration).
Qualifications:
Experience in caregiving (preferred).
Ability to handle medical equipment and take vital signs.
Compassionate, reliable, and willing to learn.
Experience:
At least 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred).
Skills:
Ability to assist with personal care, meal prep, and housekeeping.
Skilled in using homecare equipment.
