Position: Caregiver

Job Description/Overview:
As a caregiver at Rocky Mountain Assisted Living, you will provide daily assistance to elderly residents under the supervision of house managers and other staff. The role involves supporting residents with daily activities, administering medications, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities based on care plans.
Administer routine and PRN medications following state regulations.
Communicate changes in resident conditions to supervisors.
Prepare and conduct scheduled activities for residents.
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment.
Document care provided in the communication log and other required forms.
Prepare meals according to a weekly menu and ensure safe food practices.
Qualifications:
Current QMAP and First Aid Certification.
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of caregiving experience, especially with elderly or disabled individuals.
Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Experience:
1+ years of caregiving experience.
Skills:
Ability to work with elderly residents and provide assistance with daily activities.
Knowledge of medication administration and care documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and residents.

Salary: $34,000 – $42,000 per year.
