Job Description/Overview:
UC Davis is seeking a part-time Chemistry Lecturer as part of the Schore Teacher-Scholar program. The position involves teaching two organic lecture courses per year, creating and modifying course materials, conducting classes, managing teaching assistants, and grading.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Chemistry lecture courses and labs.
Modify existing course materials and create new ones.
Conduct classes and manage teaching assistants.
Assign grades and respond to student and peer feedback.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry (recent graduates preferred).
Experience: College or university teaching experience preferred.
Salary:
$3,791/month – $3,905/month, depending on experience.
