Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and personal care assistance to individuals in need. In this role, you will enhance the quality of life for clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work with individuals who may have various health conditions, including memory-related issues and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote clients’ mental well-being.
Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
Implement individualized care plans, including memory and dementia care strategies.
Promote independence for clients with developmental disabilities while ensuring safety.
Maintain a clean and safe environment with light housekeeping.
Respect resident rights and treat clients with dignity and respect.
Work collaboratively with healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
Experience or training in memory care and dementia care is highly desirable.
Preferred knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Ability to monitor vital signs and understand basic health indicators.
Experience:
Experience in caregiving, especially with memory care and developmental disabilities, is preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Compassionate nature with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Attention to detail in following care plans and maintaining accurate records.
Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
