Job Description/Overview
As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by providing the quality care and support they deserve. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living, offering companionship, and creating memorable moments. The role is dynamic, encompassing a variety of tasks such as supporting residents with food and drink, following care plans, and ensuring individual attention for each resident.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living tasks and personal care
Provide companionship and engage residents in activities
Support residents with meals and hydration
Follow care plans to ensure personalized care for each resident
Qualifications
Experience in caring for older adults is preferred
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
Compassionate and empathetic nature
Experience
Some experience in a care role, particularly with older people, is required.

Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
