Job Description
As the Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in executing and managing social media content, building brand partnerships, and gathering insights from competitor research. This position offers a fantastic learning opportunity for someone enthusiastic about food and marketing, eager to make an impact and grow within a small but ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop engaging copy, images, and content tailored for various social media platforms.
- Social Media Calendar: Draft and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely posts.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and actively engage with followers on social media platforms daily.
- Brand Partnerships: Coordinate collaborations with other brands to enhance reach and visibility.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare reports and summaries of social media performance and key metrics.
- Competitor & Influencer Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential social media influencers to strengthen content and strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience in Social Media: Experience growing a personal social media presence or blog (food-related experience is a plus).
- Current/Recent Student: Pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Passionate & Proactive: Self-starter with a passion for marketing, eager to learn, take ownership, and improve processes.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative Mindset: Willingness to work closely with the team and ask for help when needed.
- Interest in Food: Enthusiasm for food, with knowledge of or interest in the food industry.
