About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media and Community Manager to develop and manage our social media strategy and build vibrant online communities. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker who can transform trends into impactful campaigns and foster meaningful engagement with our audience.
Expected Start Date: November 11, 2024
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business objectives and drive growth.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Interact with followers daily, responding to queries and fostering meaningful conversations.
- Monitor and analyze social media KPIs, using data insights to optimize campaigns.
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and key partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a consistent brand voice and enhance customer experiences.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices, incorporating innovative tactics to strengthen our presence.
- Organize and manage online community events, such as webinars and live Q&A sessions, to deepen engagement.
- Address customer feedback professionally and promptly to build positive online communities.
Your Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Community Manager with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
- Strong writing and communication skills with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of social media marketing trends, including influencer marketing and community building.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
- Experience with paid social media campaigns is an asset.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Onsite role requiring relocation or commute to New Westminster, BC.
