Job Description/Overview
As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by providing the quality care and support they deserve. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and creating meaningful moments and memories. Every day will be unique and varied, giving you a chance to make a real difference. Duties include supporting residents with meals, following care plans, and providing one-on-one time.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living activities, including meals and personal care
Follow individual care plans to provide tailored support
Provide companionship and create positive interactions with residents
Ensure each resident has dedicated one-on-one time
Qualifications
Previous experience in caring for older adults is preferred
Compassionate and empathetic with a can-do approach
Excellent communication skills
Experience
Experience in a caregiving role, particularly with elderly residents, is advantageous.
