Job Description/Overview:
DS Recruiting Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for an ongoing civils project in Birmingham. The client, one of the UK’s top reinforced concrete (RC) specialists, operates across commercial, residential, and civil engineering sectors. This contract offers opportunities for continued work on additional packages after the current project.
Key Responsibilities:
Set out daily works accurately for reinforced concrete structures (bridges, tunnels, efw plants/power).
Maintain the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and ensure timely completion of supporting documents.
Keep detailed records, including as-built surveys, concrete pour traceability, and site diary.
Produce and maintain Quality Record Plans (QRP) for each work element.
Update Method Statements and Risk Assessments as necessary on site.
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering.
Strong understanding of plans/drawings.
Experience:
Proven experience in setting out reinforced concrete structures.
Background in producing and maintaining quality records for project sections.
Skills:
High attention to detail.
Ownership of project sections, including record-keeping and updating ITPs.
