Position: County Agency Social Worker

Job Description/Overview:
The County Agency Social Worker will conduct complex case evaluations, assess client problems, and determine suitable treatment methods. This role requires precise documentation for efficient service delivery in compliance with Agency, State, and Federal regulations. The social worker will engage in team collaboration, participate in community contacts, and maintain case management and social work skills to meet Department of Human Services educational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct case evaluations to assess client needs and determine treatment methods.
Document client services to comply with regulatory standards and maximize reimbursement.
Collaborate within the agency and engage in community interactions.
Manage time effectively, prioritize caseloads, and communicate both orally and in writing.
Other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field, or any field with one year of social work experience in a public or private agency.
Experience:
Experience as a social worker in a social services agency is preferred.
Skills:
Proficient in interviewing and recording techniques in social work.
Knowledgeable in individual and group behavior, social casework methods, and socioeconomic factors impacting family stability.
Skilled in community resource development and coordination.
Physical Effort:
Sedentary to light physical activity, occasionally lifting up to 35 lbs. Office-based environment.
Hourly Rate (Range):
$34.64 – $44.45
