About the Role
The Emirates Group is seeking a Social Media Specialist, Sponsorships to enhance the visibility and impact of its sponsorships and sports marketing initiatives through engaging and strategic social media storytelling. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a globally recognized brand, leveraging its sponsorships to drive customer engagement and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the Emirates Group’s social media strategy in collaboration with the Social Media Manager, Manager PR, and Corporate Communications teams.
  • Manage daily social media initiatives to promote sponsorships, sports marketing efforts, and key brand objectives.
  • Develop compelling content and campaigns that highlight sponsorship activations, increase brand awareness, and engage target audiences.
  • Establish and maintain a strong Emirates Group presence across platforms like Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter).
  • Identify social media opportunities and craft materials that enhance brand advocacy, foster strong relationships with influencers, and promote positive audience interactions.
  • Measure and monitor social media strategy effectiveness, providing clear, actionable reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct competitor research, monitor audience sentiment, and leverage insights to inform campaign strategies.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key bloggers, influencers, and industry stakeholders to amplify brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and share organizational achievements, ensuring alignment with the social media strategy.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and recommend innovative approaches to enhance campaign impact.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of marketing management experience, preferably within a multinational company handling sponsorships, events, or exhibitions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in activating and storytelling within the sponsorships and sports marketing space.
  • Strong interest in sports and knowledge of how to align sponsorships with brand objectives.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proven supervisory skills to coordinate suppliers and resources for events.
