Job Description/Overview:
Advantage Mechanical Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires collaboration with HVAC technicians and other trades to ensure seamless project execution while upholding high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in compliance with local codes and regulations
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances related to plumbing systems
Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber with relevant certifications or licenses
Strong mechanical knowledge with effective troubleshooting skills
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with HVAC systems is beneficial but not required
Physical capability for heavy lifting as required by the job tasks
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing and mechanical knowledge
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in hand and power tools commonly used in plumbing

Pay: $37.73 – $39.43 per hour, plus overtime pay
