Job Description/Overview
As a Domestic Assistant at Wilton Manor, you’ll be a vital part of the support services team, ensuring the highest cleanliness standards in designated areas of the care home. This role includes various housekeeping duties, such as maintaining residents’ rooms, working in the laundry, and making beds. Strong teamwork skills and a proactive, organized approach are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness in specific areas of the care home
Perform housekeeping duties efficiently and timely
Clean and organize residents’ rooms and common areas
Operate within the laundry department as needed
Collaborate effectively within a team
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but willingness to participate in training activities
Experience
Previous experience in a housekeeping or domestic assistant role is an advantage but not required
Skills
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Flexibility and teamwork skills
Proactive and willing to learn
