Job Description/Overview
As a Care Team Leader, you’ll bring professionalism, compassion, and leadership to Sanders Senior Living. In this role, you’ll plan and deliver high-quality care, ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and independent. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining top care standards, keeping records, and communicating effectively with your team. Responsibilities include supporting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in physical, social, and emotional care, handling medication, and conducting medication audits.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of Care Assistants
Ensure delivery of person-centred care according to high standards
Keep accurate records and maintain effective communication with colleagues
Assist with medication handling and audits
Support management with physical, social, and emotional care for residents
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (advantageous but not required)
Experience
Previous experience in a care environment and team leadership is preferred.
Skills
Strong organisational and communication skills
Compassionate and proactive approach to care
Skilled in person-centred care planning and dementia care
Positive attitude and ability to build relationships with residents and colleagues
