Job Description/Overview
As a Facilities Services Supervisor, you will lead a team of facilities assistants to deliver essential cleaning and catering services within the Withington division. Your role ensures a safe, hygienic, and supportive environment for both patients and staff by coordinating services at key facilities, including Buccleuch Lodge and Dermot Murphy, in alignment with MFT’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate daily activities within the Facilities Services team, ensuring all cleaning and catering services are delivered to the highest standards.
Staff Supervision: Manage and allocate tasks for facilities assistants, ensuring optimal staffing levels and resource distribution.
Liaison with Clinical Teams: Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure facilities services effectively support clinical operations.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with National Standards of Cleanliness and Health & Safety policies.
Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with other facilities supervisors and stakeholders to maintain consistent and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Desirable: Level 2 in cleaning building interiors, Customer Care Training, Basic Food Hygiene certificate, or Leadership/Management training
Experience
Required: Previous experience in a similar role and basic knowledge of Health & Safety.
Desirable: Management experience and familiarity with hospital environment standards.

Additional Information
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part-time (16.25 hours per week: Saturday 10:00-18:00, Sunday 10:00-15:00, Monday 10:00-14:00)
Salary: £24,071 – £25,674 per annum (pro rata)
Special Requirements: Subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to access to vulnerable individuals.
