Job Description/Overview
Oliver Wyman, a leading global management consulting firm, is seeking a Career Development/Talent Manager to cover maternity leave for an 18-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will join the Talent Management team, responsible for optimizing the staffing and career development of approximately 50 consultants in Germany and Austria.
Key Responsibilities
Manage staffing and talent development for assigned consultants.
Ensure a balance between project requirements, consultants’ development objectives, and personal preferences.
Oversee utilization and manage performance evaluation processes.
Serve as a trusted advisor to consultants regarding career development, work-life balance, and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with Human Capital functions on local training and performance management reporting.
Engage in project-based initiatives to enhance talent management practices.
Experience Required
2-4 years of relevant experience in a client services business environment.
Preferred experience in talent management or human resources.
Strong relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
Skills and Attributes
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or Business Administration.
Fluent in German and English.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Proactive, strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
