Job Description/Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and managing new business opportunities. This role involves developing sales strategies, building relationships with clients, managing the sales budget, scheduling the sales process from start to finish, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new revenue opportunities within customers’ communities.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals.
Prepare and present sales reports, including market research and analysis.
Prospect and generate sales with new and existing customers.
Provide information and presentations as requested by customers.
Stay updated within the K9 industry, Venue Security, and Air Cargo Operations.
Collaborate with various departments daily and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Understand industry competitors’ products, services, and capabilities.
Build and maintain a full sales pipeline with qualified leads and prospects.
Attend conferences to broaden product knowledge.
Work in a call center environment as needed.
Collaborate with Corporate Marketing for K9 Marketing and development of marketing materials.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
Five years of experience in sales and the Air Cargo Industry.
Recent experience in 3PK9 cargo screening preferred.
Ability to obtain a Known Traveler Number (KTN).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Project management skills with near real-time visibility of tasks.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical capability to lift, carry, push or move objects up to 25 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, squat, and perform other physical tasks throughout the workday.
Experience:
Five years of experience in sales and the Air Cargo Industry.
Skills:
Self-driven and results-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of industry competitors
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Additional Information:
