Job Description/Overview
West London NHS Trust is seeking a qualified Healthcare Assistant to join the community nursing team in Ealing, London. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to a diverse range of patients in the community. This position requires flexibility, including working weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. Applicants must have a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent, excellent teamwork, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support the community nursing team in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Assist in training and supporting students and colleagues.
Travel throughout the locality with equipment as needed.
Maintain a commitment to NHS values and quality care for patients.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
GCSE in English.
Familiarity with SystmOne and general computer programs (Excel, Word).
Experience
At least 6 months of experience in a public healthcare setting.
Prior experience in health or social care.
Skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication.
