Job Description/Overview:
Ward A3 at Wythenshawe Hospital is seeking compassionate and flexible Nursing Assistants to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will be a key part of the patient care journey, supporting patients with personal care needs and working closely with Registered Nurses to deliver excellent patient care. The role involves both day and night shifts, spread over 7 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with personal care, including toileting, bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Support the nursing team by recording patient observations and reporting changes in patient conditions.
Communicate compassionately with patients, relatives, and team members.
Qualifications:
National Care Certificate or willingness to complete it within 12 weeks.
Level 2 Apprenticeship in healthcare or equivalent.
Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English or equivalent.
Experience:
Prior experience in healthcare, social care, or a related field is essential.
Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
Skills:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills (desirable).

Additional Information:
Permanent role, full-time or part-time (37.5 hours per week).
Salary: £23,615 – £25,674 per annum, pro rata.
