About the Role:
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics seeks a New Business Operations Lead to support our New Business Operations (NBO) team. This position will lead process improvement initiatives, manage capture pipeline operations, and support high-visibility new business reviews. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with executives, provide critical operational insights, and help shape the direction of new business development. This role is ideal for someone with strong business development experience, a data-driven mindset, and a keen understanding of capture processes. This remote position offers flexible work schedules, including a 4-day work week, and requires approximately 20% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process improvement initiatives, tool integration, and operational reporting for ASBD (Aeronautics Business Development).
- Oversee and improve ASBD’s capture pipeline operations, reviews, and cross-portfolio assessments.
- Develop strategic insights to enhance data quality, streamline processes, and drive business decisions.
- Manage ASBD’s reporting requirements and ensure integration into corporate metrics, including transformation efforts.
- Lead communications, stand-ups, and other operational activities supporting ASBD.
- Collaborate with various operational teams, including 1LMX, transformation, and AOM (Aero Operating Model), for integrated support.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in business development operations and team leadership.
- Proficiency in managing and analyzing large datasets.
- Executive-level presentation skills and experience interfacing with senior management.
- Knowledge of capture processes and continuous process improvement.
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication skills and business acumen.
- Expertise in data analytics, metric development, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with MS Dynamics, Tableau, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of LM capture processes and win-plans.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Clearance Requirements:
- This position requires a Secret security clearance. Only U.S. citizens will be considered.
