Position: Live-in Caregiver – Persons with Disabilities

Job Description/Overview:
The live-in caregiver will assist clients with disabilities in personal care, including administering medications, helping with bathing, feeding, light housekeeping, and providing companionship. Room and board are provided, and work will be done at the employer’s residence.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications
Assist clients in water activities
Support personal hygiene routines, including bathing
Facilitate regular exercise, like walking
Change non-sterile dressings
Feed or assist in feeding
Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
Provide companionship and personal care
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Cook
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
1 to less than 7 months
Skills:
Ability to work under pressure and multitask
Bending, crouching, and kneeling required
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, dependability, flexibility, and initiative
