Job Description/Overview:
The Researcher will be responsible for executing scientific research in the laboratory to identify useful metastatic biomarkers for improving existing therapeutic strategies with prostate and breast cancer. The associate is expected to participate in full-time experimental activities relating to assigned research projects and should be motivated to plan, run experiments, analyze data, and report results creatively.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute scientific research to identify metastatic biomarkers.
Prepare manuscripts and data for reports/journals.
Analyze data and report results effectively.
Order supplies as needed.
Train/mentor junior staff or students.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field, OR
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience, OR
Associate’s degree in a related field and four (4) years of related experience, OR
High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of related experience.
Experience:
Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot and construct solutions.
Knowledge and clinical expertise in laboratory technology.
Experience in a research laboratory.
