Job Description/Overview:
Visiting Angels of Peoria is seeking Caregivers to assist seniors in their homes, ensuring they maintain independence. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal care. This is a flexible role offering immediate openings. No experience is necessary, and the office provides 24/7 support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily living assistance for seniors
Perform light housekeeping and meal prep
Offer companionship and emotional support
Assist with personal care needs
Remind clients to take medications
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years or older
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
Must pass drug test, criminal background check, and fingerprinting
Experience:
Home care: 1 year (Preferred)
Senior care: 1 year (Preferred)
Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
Skills:
Compassionate and empathetic personality
Good communication and multitasking skills
Ability to follow directions and maintain attention to detail
Additional Information:
