Job Description/Overview:
As a Residential Senior Carer at Barchester, you will provide quality, person-centered care while leading a team of care staff. Your responsibilities will include administering and ordering medication, reviewing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of residents. You will also liaise with GPs, nursing teams, and family members to ensure residents’ needs are met. The role requires someone compassionate and dedicated to delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of care staff
Administer and manage resident medication
Review and update care plans and risk assessments
Liaise with GPs, district nurses, and resident family members
Maintain a warm, welcoming, and vibrant care environment
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
Experience:
Previous experience in a residential care setting
Proven leadership and team management experience
Skills:
Compassionate and warm-hearted approach
Strong communication and decision-making skills
Ability to provide personalized care to residents
