Job Description/Overview:
As a Bank Care Assistant at Barchester’s Kenwyn Care Home, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents. You will support daily living activities, offering companionship and care. This role offers the flexibility to work as needed, covering for staff on annual or sick leave, with the opportunity to work both days and nights. You will help residents with food, drink, and care plans, ensuring every resident receives the attention they need.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living, providing support and companionship
Support with meals and personal care
Follow care plans and ensure each resident has one-on-one time
Create memorable moments and contribute to a fulfilling environment
Qualifications:
Experience in caring for older people
Compassionate and empathetic approach
Excellent communication skills
Experience:
Previous experience in a care setting (preferred, but training provided)
Skills:
Ability to provide warm-hearted, person-centered care
A flexible, can-do attitude
Strong interpersonal skills
