Job Description/Overview:
MSAD #15 is seeking a Health Assistant to work in school health offices under the direction of the district’s school nurses. The Health Assistant will assist with updating cumulative health records, implementing emergency procedures, providing first aid, issuing daily medications, completing health screenings, and performing other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist school nurses with updating cumulative health records.
Implement emergency procedures and provide first aid.
Issue daily medications and complete health screenings.
Perform additional duties as assigned by school nurses.
Qualifications:
Applicants with a health certification or degree are preferred.
Experience in a clinical or school setting is beneficial.
Salary:
Base pay range: $32K – $40K per year (Employer Est.)
Median Salary: $36K per year

Additional Information:
Health Assistants work the student school year plus 3 professional development days and may be available for up to 5 summer days per year as needed.
