Job Description/Overview

 

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) – Outbound at FE fundinfo, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities through proactive outreach. You will engage with potential clients, generate leads, and book meetings for the sales team. Working closely with sales and marketing, you will help achieve ambitious growth targets in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to promote and sell FE fundinfo’s products and services.

 

Generate leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.

 

Deliver tailored and compelling sales pitches.

 

Meet and exceed targets and KPIs set by the BDR Director.

 

Handle customer queries and objections confidently to convert leads into qualified opportunities.

 

Input and update customer information in the CRM system.

 

Qualifications

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers over the phone.

 

Strong negotiation skills and resilience in handling rejection.

 

A natural drive to overachieve and maintain motivation despite setbacks.

 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Proficiency in using computers and CRM software.

 

Experience

 

Experience in sales or business development roles is preferred but not required.

 

Confidence in handling customer objections and converting leads.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Strong problem-solving abilities and a goal-oriented mindset.

 

Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
