Job Description/Overview
Conrad Consulting is working with a renowned facade contractor known for winning repeat contracts with tier 1 contractors. We are seeking a Site Manager with a solid background in cladding and building envelope projects, particularly in managing significant building exterior projects. Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of rainscreen cladding, Metsec, render, SFS, curtain walling, and proprietary systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day running of the exterior/cladding package on the main contractor’s site.
Ensure successful delivery of the package, managing personnel, including site employees and sub-contractors.
Liaise with clients on-site and represent the company at progress and update meetings.
Maintain high standards in health and safety, budget control, and contract performance.
Ensure projects run on or ahead of schedule while meeting client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in cladding or building envelope projects.
Minimum HNC in a construction-related degree (preferred).
Client-facing with a confident approach to managing client relationships from a sub-contractor perspective.
Experience working for main contractors is advantageous.
Experience
At least 5 years of management experience (Assistant Site Manager roles included).
Stable employment history in the construction industry, with a focus on exterior building projects.
Skills
Strong project management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Additional Information
Salary/Rate: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
