The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Copywriter, Direct Response to join our Acquisition team. This role is perfect for a copywriter who excels at performance-driven content and direct response marketing, with a passion for storytelling and education. You’ll play a key role in enhancing performance metrics, supporting brand value, and clearly communicating the benefits of AG1 products.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with Creative Leadership, Product Marketing, and Channel Teams to create high-impact, performance-optimized copy. You will be responsible for landing page copy, Partnership ad reads for podcasts and creators, as well as social and email copy. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, iterative environment, constantly improving creative efforts based on data and trends.
Responsibilities:
- Performance-Optimized Content: Work at the intersection of Creative Strategy and Channel Teams to develop performance-optimized content for landing pages, podcasts, creators, paid social, and email campaigns.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the “Quickstrike” creative pod (Design, Editors, Producers), Creative Strategists, and Channel Managers to create and respond to creative briefs.
- Campaign Optimization: Continuously respond to performance data, applying the “What/So What/What Now” approach to adjust strategies and enhance results.
- Copy Development: Write landing page copy, Partnership ad reads, and other creative assets to support advertising and marketing strategies.
- Brand Cohesion: Work with Creative Leadership to maintain a cohesive brand expression while tailoring content to different channels.
- Market & Product Insight: Stay up-to-date on AG1 products, supplement industry trends, human psychology, and health and wellness trends to deliver relevant and impactful content.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of direct response and performance copywriting experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proven experience with copywriting for podcasts, creators, websites/landing pages, paid social, email, and sales funnels.
- Passion for health, wellness, and supplements, with an ability to craft stories that resonate at each touchpoint.
- Strong understanding of direct response copywriting, performance marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Critical and creative thinker who can develop concepts and execute them quickly.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple teams and functions.
- A portfolio showcasing excellence in direct response copywriting and proven results.
- Proficiency in G Suite.
